| I QUIT!!!!!!!! |
I gave my girl the best news ever today. I told her that she and I could pick a day for her to turn in her notice at her job. The only thing keeping her there was the great insurance package that they offered that I was in the middle of using for my teeth. well, we just upgraded at work and it is now offering dental. awesome!
so, within a month, the girl will no longer be employed by ... she'd kill me if i said. anyways, here's to getting a better job! |

| Wednesday, January 10 |
| What a Whiner! |
It is official. I'm a pussy. Seriously.
The dentist first comes in and applies the topical stuff. after a few minutes she asks if i am going numb, i reply with "I think so". But really i was freakin out thinking that I wasn't. So when she tapped it with a tool and i felt nothing, i was releaved.
Then i thought what about the deep down parts. I was so worked up i was just short of an anxiety attack when she grabbed some vibrating electric needle thingy and injected something into my gums around the tooth. next she said, we'll let the tooth marinate a bit and get to work.
We wait.
Now i am touching the tooth with my tongue thinking that i am not sure it is all numb yet. she starts to probe around and i feel nothing. nothing at all. awesome. turn up the tunes and let her work.
literally, 30 seconds, the tooth is out. I am not kidding.
like i said, it's official, i'm a pussy. |

| Dreading |
 I am 33 years old and need to have a wisdom tooth pulled today. At 3. I can not tell you how much I am dreading this. I got little to no sleep last night worrying about my dog and now i have to sit in a chair and let someone wrench on my face with a pair of pliers.
Can you say yay! |

| Randomness |
I have a resting heart rate of 52. Below 60 is not normal. Doctor said that it could mean I am doing a good job of getting in shape and the cardio workouts are really helping me.
The headaches I get are most likely caused due to allergies. So i am using prescription flonase. stuff burns like hell. but if it works, awesome. I'll know in two weeks from what he says.
Diet progress, I have lost a total of 20 pounds. I have not lost any strength what so ever. My belt needs another hole in it and all my pants are too big. I have modified my diet from a full blown Atkins to a Low Carb/Low Calorie/Low Fat diet. I workout everyday and run on the treadmill and i keep the calories down as well as stay as far away from sugars as I can. except for when my girl teases me with candy at night.

| Tuesday, January 2 |
| New Years |
We had an awesome time. Very low key. Very fun. Just me and my girl and three other people. We drank, played Taboo and had a blast. It was fun not to spend a lot of money at some bar/club or have to do anything big. We ate chips and dips and had a blast.
My resolution though, i honestly couldn't think of anything so i said that I just wanted to continue to be as happy as I have been (knock on wood). So to all, happy new year! |
